CIGIU Assists in Establishment of Guangdong Graphene Innovation Center

On April 11th, 2019 Shenzhen International Graphene Summit, jointly organized by Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee and the government of Nanshan District, with co-organization by Graduate School of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen, Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shenzhen Geim Graphene Research Center, opened in Graduate School of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen. Ruan Ruxiang, Permanent Vice Chairman of CIGIU, William Liu, the Secretary General of CIGIU, and other units and member companies of CIGIU supported and participated in the summit.

More than 60 world-renowned scientists and industry professionals in the field of graphene, including Andre Geim, senior adviser of CIGIU, winner of the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics and professor at the University of Manchester, UK, and academician Liu Zhongfan, Professor of Peking University, delivered keynote speeches to share scientific research progress and industrial development trends of graphene and other materials from  perspective of academic and industrialization.

As one of the major entities reporting to the National Graphene Manufactering Innovation Center, CIGIU, with national superior graphene technology and industrial strength, .has done a lot of fruitful work in the industrialization of graphene technology. This support to Guangdong Graphene Innovation Center will accelerate the establishment of  a national graphene manufactering innovation Center.
