“Graphene + New Energy” Symposium Was Held in Beijing

At the conference

On March 29^th, 2017, the “Graphene + New Energy” symposium was held in Beijing. At the opening ceremony of the conference, Liu Zhongfan, Senior Advisor of CIGIU, and Ruan Ruxiang, Permanent Vice Chairman of CIGIU, respectively delivered their speeches.

The theme of the symposium covered the research status, existing problems and industrialization prospects of graphene in smart wearable devices, optoelectronic devices, lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors, lithium-sulfur batteries and other applications. Well-known experts from research institutes and representatives from famous enterprises of graphene industry came to make speeches. Considering the prospect of the new energy, while many problems are supposed to exist, the prospect is promising. Effort should be made step by step and down-to-earth instead of rushing to get things done.
